Important Update: Books Are GEMS Golf Tournament
After careful consideration, the Books Are GEMS Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to postpone our Golf Tournament scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2026, to a future date due to circumstances beyond our control.
We sincerely appreciate everyone who planned to participate and support this special fundraising event, including our golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community partners.
All golf registration fees and sponsorship payments already received will be fully refunded.
Books Are GEMS will be contacting affected golfers and sponsors directly regarding their refunds.
We are especially grateful to those who stepped forward to support the tournament, donated prizes or items, helped promote the event, or volunteered their time. Your generosity and continued support of Books Are GEMS are deeply appreciated.
Although the tournament has been postponed, our work continues. Books Are GEMS remains committed to providing free books, literacy programs, educational resources, and learning opportunities for children, families, and teachers throughout our community.
We hope to bring the Books Are GEMS Golf Tournament back at a future date and will share additional information once plans are confirmed.
Thank you for your understanding and for your continued support of Books Are GEMS and our mission to inspire children and empower families through literacy.
